  • Sarah Makepeace asked for donations rather than presents for the 12th birthday of daughter Georgia, who has NKH, and raised over £800. Thank you so much.

  • Renowned Wigan drinker, John Holland, undertook a sponsored alcohol ban for one month, and raised an incredible £1,200. Well done, Chunk!

  • More action from regular Joseph’s Goal fundraisers Alison, Mark and Aaron, this time with the Wigan Santa Dash. Much appreciated.

  • Thank you Louise and the staff of Fairhurst Accountants of Wigan, who held a Xmas Jumper day to raise funds for Joseph’s Goal.

  • Major sponsors of Joseph’s Goal, MHA Lighting of Atherton, donated £250 instead of sending Xmas cards this year.  Many thanks to all at MHA.

    Three year old Sam pressed the switch for his brother, after Joseph was invited to switch on the Xmas Lights in Wigan town centre following a lavish stage performance by Freeloader, Bailey McConnell and Hacker T Dog. Thanks to Mike Matthews, our bucket collectors, and all who contributed to a fundraising total of over £200.

  • The annual bonfire and firework display at Haigh Hall produced over £400 for Joseph’s Goal. Thanks to Keith Bergman, Santander and our freezing bucket collectors and all who gave money.

  • Wigan Cosmos FC, whose home shirts carry the Joseph’s Goal logo, held a sale of limited edition shirts featuring a Remembrance Day  poppy emblem, with proceeds going to Joseph’s Goal. Many thanks.
