  • The Market Place, Wigan branch of Santander has adopted Joseph’s Goal and is holding regular fundraisers on Saturdays, with all the staff wearing Joseph’s Goal T shirts. Thank you to Sarah, Sarah, and all the staff.

  • Landlord Ian Roscoe is seen presenting the signed Latics shirt to winner Phil Handley after a raffle that raised £446 for Joseph’s Goal at the Delph Tavern, Orrell. Many thanks.   • A large block print of Jean to mark his World Cup goal was offered for the best retweet / new follower – won by Mark Gore with wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper.

  • Phil Grimshaw completed the Southport Marine Lake Triathlon to raise over £600 ‘to help an old school friend and his son’. Much appreciated.

    Taxi driver Christopher Stewart insisted that his fares had to buy a Joseph’s Goal wristband before getting into his taxi, and raised over £100. Great idea!

      Congratulations to Andy Brown, who bid £220 to win the Ivan Ramis Latics shirt, signed by all the squad to mark the all Spanish Champions League final in 2014.

  • At the WJL Presentation Evening at the DW Stadium South Stand Suite, the most prestigious award of the evening, the Clubman of the Year, was renamed the Joseph Goal Cup. A cheque for £2,000 was also presented to Joseph’s Goal after a year of fundraising for the Charity, which realised a total of £2,500. Thanks to the [...]
