If you would like to support Joseph’s Goal by making a donation, you may use any of the following methods.
Donate online:
We have accounts set up with both Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving.
Since Just Giving reduced their fees recently it has brought the two sites closer in terms of the financial returns to Joseph’s Goal.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Basically if you think your donations will be on average under £15 use Virgin Money and if above £15 use Just Giving.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Virgin Money Giving
Virgin Money Giving allows the Donor to add the fees to their donation so the Charity receives the
full amount.
Just Giving
Donors need to be very careful using Just Giving in respect of the “small contribution”
section, after the donation amount selection, which is preset at a % currently 15%.
This means Just Giving will receive this additional % amount as well as their normal fees with nothing
extra going to the Charity !!
However, the % option is part of a drop-down menu that displays alternatives –
5%, 8%, 10%, 15%, Other.
We recommend donors select the Other option, leave the contribution amount blank and continue.
